Day 3- Bondage

It seem like as time goes on more and more things are becoming openly acceptable, and SEX is one of them. Since 50 shades of grey came out in 2011, the world of S&M  and bondage has boomed : and its got adults trying out things they thought they never, to spice up there sex life. Last years fashion shows where full of bondage garments and lingerie outerwear, some revelling than others.
                So  I did a mood board that shows the modern day high fashion bondage garments.

I was inspired by bondage and binding in high fashion.

day 2 - Insparation- Face Restriction

So Here I looked at images that I was inspired with, that show face restriction. Some look like the face is distorted ,some look uncomfortable , while some are seen to be sexual.

DAY 1 -Final Major porject - Restriction Intro

For my Final major project, I've decided to go with the theme of 'Restriction', and this is going to be my online reflective blog/diary, where I will be posting my ideas ,research final out comes and more.  I want to study Fashion communication in Uni, so I'm going to incorporate all the skills that fashion communicators explore : Art direction , Photography ,Stylising, branding and film.

I want to combine fashion and restriction, to see different ways people can be restricted through garments and how much control they have.

The first thing that came to mind when I put fashion and restriction together was bondage and S&M Or   BDSM    An overlapping abbreviation of Bondage and Discipline (BD), Dominance and Submission (DS), Sadism and Masochism (SM)

 

BDSM has become a massive part of the 20 1st Centaury its impacted Fashion, Media, and education it used to seen as a taboo (no one really spoke about it). Especially the perception of sex and how porn amplifies it, its all hyper reality (not real : they're being restricted to show there real emotion.)

 

 

 

 

are women seen as sex Salves ?

Are men seen as Sexual predators ?
